Strategies: Converting Traffic To Leads.

What's It Worth?

Getting leads is like bait fishing. The fish decide whether the bait is valuable, not the fisherman.

You want the names, e-mail addresses and contact information of leads. But why should the website visitor give you his/her information? The key to converting traffic to leads, is “paying” for it. Now, I am not talking about paying cash. I am talking about exchanging something of value, for contact information.

Let's be clear about the topic of value. Value is not the asking price. Value is not the going rate. Value is whatever your visitors find irresistable. If the fish don't bite, then the bait is worthless.

A good way of defining value is this: Value is the amount that something is worth at auction after the first 100 buyers have gotten theirs.

What information do you have, or what can you publish that your prospects would gladly pay several dollars to download a copy?

You are going to GIVE it away, FREE.

This information is key to getting their contact information. Qwerty helps you reel the fish to shore.
